KININ COVID-19 Updates

Hi There, and thank you for taking the time to read this. As is true with most companies, KININ is taking the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously. We want to make sure that our customers are safe and well, so this page will serve to update all customers on our current status during the pandemic as well as some essential guidelines with respect to our products.

Your Safety is our First Priority

During these unprecedented times, please follow these safety guidelines:

  • Because your mouth makes direct contact with our pods, please do NOT share pods with friends or family, even if you believe that you do not carry the virus.
  • Wash your hands both before and after using your KININ Eco and pods.
  • Do not leave your KININ Eco or pods unattended or in the possession of another person.

Internal KININ Safety Measures

KININ takes a number of regular safety precautions during its normal business operations, irrespective of COVID-19. These include:

  • Masks and medical grade gloves are always worn around any of our botanical liquid before it is loaded into pods and anytime pods are handled, labeled, or boxed before they are shipped.
  • The area where pods are filled is both sanitary and restricted to personnel that need to access it via HID proxy badges.
  • All of our empty pods are also stored in the protected area of the facility.

In light of the current situation, we have also taken additional precautionary measures, including:

  • We are practicing social distancing. Only one person is allowed in the primary office at anytime. We have recently extended this practice to the picking and packing area of our facility. We're a small team, so this is very manageable. Everyone on the team is and has been self-isolating since the first reports of COVID-19 in the US.
  • All KININ employees have agreed to immediately notify management if they show any signs of illness whatsoever.
  • We have doubled our deep cleaning schedule and removed any unnecessary surfaces from the office.

How This May Affect You

  • Given that essentially one person works here at any given time, the odds that your order will ship as quickly as it has in the past are low. We ask you to please be patient with us. We are committed to doing the best job for you that we can right now.
  • There is some ambiguity about availability of pods after our current inventory is depleted. In the event that we run out of product, we will continue to take orders and fulfill them as soon as is possible. Again, we appreciate your patience.
